“We’re starting a family and we’re looking for brothers & sisters.”

- The Hardkiss Mantra

South African-born and San Franciscan-refined, Gavin Hardkiss stands as a pioneer of American House.  In the 90s, alongside his “brothers” Scott & Robbie, Hardkiss both experienced and shaped much of the rave-scene firsthand; their 1995 release, Delusions of Grandeur, can call itself one of the first commercially-available American house music releases.  Now, after over 10 years hiatus and the unfortunate death of Scott, Hardkiss are releasing new music, much of it embodying a strong sense of social awareness and critique.  At Give a Beat, his groove and his gusto for activism makes him an amazing friend and ally to our causes.
